What is The Point Middle School Ministry?

The Point is the middle school extension of the 3BC Student Ministry. We are a "student ministry" intentionally. This is a ministry for students, by students.

As a ministry for students, The Point is a place where students come together and hang with other students and adults who desire to keep it real, build meaningful relationships, have fun, and point one another to Jesus Christ. This is a place where real community happens, the gospel is central, and students have a blast.

As a ministry by students, The Point is a place where students mature and make their faith their own by stepping into the mission that God has for them. We equip students to minister to other students in our ministry as well as in all of their daily activities. We disciple them, entrust them with leadership, give them opportunities to love and serve the people of Murfreesboro. Through many great events like summer camp, mission trips, moonlight madness, and many more we are building young disciples who focus on the main Point!

Edwin Stanley and Justin Wesson take the lead in the Point Middle School Ministry. They plan the events and programing under the supervision of the Student Pastor, Adam Lickey.

What is The Point all about?

Here at The Point, we are focusing on the things that are important to God. Our theme verse shows us where to aim in this thing we call life.

Matt 22: ³⁷ He said to him, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. ³⁸ This is the greatest and most important command. ³⁹ The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself."

When does The Point meet?

+Sunday morning LIFE Groups @ 8am and 10:45am
+Sunday night DU @ 5pm
+Wednesday night student Worship service @ 6pm

Who can attend The Point?

Any and all students in grades 6-8 have a warm welcome waiting!
